As a coffee company, we do our best to find and to help organizations doing good in our city and the places our great coffee beans comes from.
Here are just a few of the local organizations we love to love. This is what they have to say about themselves and what they do.
Changed Women’s Ministry is a non-profit organization and our mission is to encourage women to find identity in Christ while embracing forgiveness, purpose and freedom.
Changed Women’s Retreat is an opportunity for any woman, no matter what age or stage of life, to get away from the demands of the world and press in closer to Jesus. Closer to Him where we can begin to see ourselves as He sees us. To the place where we begin to understand that our identity is in Christ and not what the world says we could or should be. The place where we feel loved, cherished and pursued by God. The confidence that comes from knowing and believing these things empowers us to play our irreplaceable role in this world. City Center exists to bring relief and restoration to lives in the 405. At City Center, through Adopt-a-Block, recreational activities, and partnerships with other organizations within the community, we spend our days sharing our lives with families and youth who live in challenging neighborhoods in Oklahoma City.
We currently offer an after-school and summer program for youth, relief for families with food insecurities, athletic mentorship programs, haircuts, and a clothing room — all free of charge.
Pointing to The Way along the way
In a fallen world, there’s a struggle to remain faithful to the call God has placed on lives of men. We face endless physical, mental and spiritual battles. Some are won, some are lost but they must be fought. This world needs warriors. Men who will rise to the challenge and fight for their families, their friends and themselves.
The problem is that fewer than 10% of churches are able to maintain an effective men’s ministry. So how will Soulcon lead the way?
Men need to be better: better husbands, better fathers, better men. At True North, we facilitate the sharing of experiences to promote a deeper, more fulfilling life that can only be found in Jesus Christ – the ultimate man.
We do this at various environments and one of those environments is Basecamp. In order for a man to get his heart back, he’s got to take a journey. One that involves risk, danger, and a point of no return. Basecamp is a four-day quest into the recovery of the masculine soul. Basecamp is more than a retreat — it’s an expedition of the heart. You’ll never be the same!
Everything we do is to help men WALK | ENGAGE | LIVE. WALK with God | ENGAGE in the larger story | LIVE free.
